New technologies applied to the study and conservation of cultural property. State of the art in Spanish museums

Using as models the research laboratories of two important museums, the British Museum and the Musée du Louvre, a review is made of the physico-chemical methods currently used for the analysis of materials of museum objects for their study and conservation, evaluating the availability in Spanish museums and the prospects for the future.
