Archaeological excavations in Cabezo Pardo (San Isidro/Granja de Rocamora, Alicante). Latest actions
Excavations at this site began in 2006. The results obtained during the fieldwork carried out at the site are presented. Two clearly differentiated periods of occupation have been recorded: one belonging to the Bronze Age, related to the El Argar culture; and another from the Medieval period, from the 8th-9th centuries.
AD. The work carried out has made it possible to document the urban organisation of the settlement in each of these two stages and to establish its chronology by means of radiocarbon dating.
