Evidence of Paleo-Andalusian irrigation and other new data on the Font Antiga (Crevillent, Alacant)

We present the latest archaeological work carried out in the hydraulic complex of La Font Antiga. The results constitute a significant advance in the knowledge of the construction sequence, as they have allowed us to isolate a Palaeo-Andalusian horizon associated with one of the ancient irrigation channels. On the other hand, we believe we have discovered and identified the missing waterfall of Saltant de Zahara mentioned in medieval documents in an area near the Els Pontets aqueduct.
