Evidence of support extraction as a method for the production of bone artefacts during the 2nd millennium BC in the Iberian Peninsula
This article analyses the manufacturing process of a group of projectile points made from deer antler, the production of which seems to be fairly standardised. For this purpose, we systematically used portions obtained by extracting the A or B perch from the antler, obtaining regularised supports of rectangular shapes from which to manufacture the points using various techniques.
