Mocking death. A new amulet from the necropolis of l'Albufereta.

The recent revision of the material from the ancient excavations at the necropolis of l'Albufereta has led to the identification of a small fragment of carved bone whose parallels can be found in the Punic world. It is possible to interpret this piece as an amulet of protection against the dangers that exist after death, hence its frequent appearance in funerary contexts.
