Keay XXI amphora, with a general structure similar to Almagro 51A-B, variant C, from the Sado Valley, Portugal. Moulded rim and pyriform body with smooth grooves that give it a sinuous appearance. Oval-section handles attached to the neck below the rim. It is topped with a massive pointed pivot. Very intense red-brown paste with a dark grey or dark brown slip, with a high percentage of mica that makes it incompatible with a North African origin. Container for fish sauce.
