The X Jornadas de recreación histórica will once again turn the Lucentum archaeological site into a Roman city.

On Saturday 31 May, the Lucentum site will become the Roman city it was 2000 years ago with the X Jornadas de Recreación Histórica (10th Historical Recreation Days) Lucentum Reviviscit.

Organised by the Diputación de Alicante and the Fundación CV MARQ in collaboration with the associations Hispania Romana and Legio Prima and the Banco Sabadell FoundationThe day, now in its tenth edition, will begin at 18:45 with the presentation of the site by the director of MARQ, Manuel Olcina.

Afterwards, the specialists in historical recreation will bring us closer to the Roman world of 2000 years ago and will show us different aspects of the life of our ancestors in the Roman Lucentum. We will see scenes that will show us the different social classes, a great procession (Pompa); the Iberian and Punic warrior, the gladiatorial fight, as well as the tactics and daily activities in a military camp.

The entrance fee is €3, with free admission for children under 7 years old. Sun protection, comfortable shoes and water are recommended. With a capacity for 350 people, tickets can be purchased at the MARQ ticket offices, at the site itself and through vivaticket.es.
