During the XXIV edition The award ceremony was held in the Conference Room of the Alacant City Hallthe provincial official expressed his "deep satisfaction"The fact that this award goes to the MARQ, "an institution that forms an essential part of this Diputación and, above all, of the cultural heart of the whole province.".
The president also confirmed that, since its creation, the MARQ has been "a benchmark in the understanding of archaeology and museography"He also assured that it is not just a museum, ".is a living space for knowledge, scientific research and dissemination of our heritage.".
