
The museum will offer guided and animated tours, as well as storytelling and workshops for children.
The Archaeological Museum of Alicante will offer two days of DOORS OPEN to the public to commemorate the Day of the Comunitat Valenciana and Columbus Day.
The Didactic Unit of the Fundación CV MARQ has organised various activities for families during these two days. On 9 October at 11:30 a.m., there will be a animated visit in Valencian to the Middle Ages Room, followed by a storytelling and workshops. Both activities will also be offered in sign language. In addition, on Sunday, 12 October at 12:00 noon, there will be a dramatised visit.
During these two days the public will also be able to enjoy guided tours of the permanent exhibition rooms, with a maximum seating capacity of 30 persons per pass, prior registration at the MARQ ticket officesThe museum also offers organised visits to get a closer look at the permanent chronological-cultural rooms of the museum and to go into details that may go unnoticed on a regular visit. The timetable for these guided visits will be at 10:30 a.m. Prehistory Room, 11:30 a.m. Iberian Hall and to the 12.30 p.m. Rome Room.
As a novelty this year, the programme of activities at the Museum will be joined by the opening of the visits to the Cova de l'Or in Beniarrés with special character, on October 9th.after the completion of the improvement works carried out this summer inside the site. After the summer break, this site museum and its Interpretation Centre will be open to visitors, by prior reservation, on weekends from 11-12 October until 13-14 December 2025.
Access to both the Interpretation Centre and the Cova de l'Or site is limited to the following hours. guided tours, by prior arrangement and up to the completion of the maximum capacity of 15 persons/passpromoted by the CV MARQ Foundation, following the agreement signed with Beniarrés Town Council, with the aim of preserving the value of the heritage and historical legacy of the archaeological site converted into a site museum. Free visits are not authorised.
