In the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia Nº 192 of 08/10/2025 is published the CALL FOR EIGHT TRAINING GRANTS FOR THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF THE PROVINCIAL COUNCIL OF ALICANTE, YEAR 2026.

The purpose of the call for applications is to award, by means of a public call for applications, eight training grants to be carried out at the Archaeological Museum of the Provincial Council of Alicante, for the year 2026, distributed in the following modalities:

- Training Grants in Museography and Museology: 5 grants.

- Library and Archive Training Grants: 1 grant.

- Training Grants in Archaeological Heritage Restoration: 2 grants.

The aim of the call is to complete and perfect the theoretical training of university graduates by means of the practice of the following tasks related to the activity of the Archaeological Museum of Alicante:

- Training Grants in Museography and Museology: museographic tasks such as registration, admission control, inventory, cataloguing, conservation, exhibition of material, archaeological excavations of the museum itself, as well as those relating to the different aspects of the museum.

- Library and Archive Training Grants: organisation, cataloguing and inventorying of bibliographic collections and organisation, identification and description of documentary collections in the museum's archives.

- Training Grants in Archaeological Heritage Restoration: restoration and conservation of archaeological heritage.
