This article presents the main results of the archaeological intervention, which was carried out by Alebus S.L.
in 2011, in the Convent of La Merced in Elche. During the works, building remains were exhumed belonging to
the Arab baths, as well as different floorings in the cloister. Some remains have also been documented that,
possibly belonged to the Baroque church demolished after the Civil War and a necropolis from the 18th and 19th centuries
related to such a building.
