Triangular-shaped silver palette, with a rounded profile and tip. Cylindrical neck with thickening at the distal end and rounded at the end where it joins the palette. Decorated with commemorative engraving on the obverse with the following inscription in capital letters: "H.M. THE KING D. ALFONSO XIII INAUGURATED THE WORKS OF THE STRATEGIC RAILWAY FROM VILLAJOYOSA TO DENIA WITH THIS PALLET ON 13 FEBRUARY 1911". Triple silver marking on the obverse side of the front side of the coin, with the symbol of the town, Madrid, contrast and silver. The work of the Madrid-born artist Ramón Espuñes, probably made at the Real Fábrica de Platería de Madrid.
This palette, similar to other commemorative palettes, was made on the occasion of the inauguration of the railway works of the narrow gauge train linking the towns of Alacant and Denia, which was attended by King Alfons XIII.
