Second half of the 10th century
Incomplete luminous body with part of the base missing and the body is completely flattened. The original shape is truncated cone-shaped. It rests on three pots, of which only two remain; these are in the shape of animals, possibly lions. The decoration of the main body is structured in two parallel bands separated by a plain band. The same plant motif of the tree of life is developed on both sides and is arranged in a series of circles in a circle that alternatively show flowers, pomes, penjolls and, sometimes, trifoliate flowers. The light is finished with a tulip-shaped top with rectangular perforations. Aquesta rematada s'enfila con el cos per mitjà de feixos de tiges dobles. L'obra està realitzada a la cera perduda amb una depurada tècnica del calat.
The formal resemblance with the large peveter in the Louvre Museum (Paris, 1977. No. 19) dated to the 9th century (its upper part is formally very similar to the present one, as is the presence of the pots d'. 19) dated to the 9th century (its upper part is formally very similar to the present one, as is the presence of the pots of'a zoomorph, in this case a series of leaves; the development of the phytomorphic motif, with feixes of tigers that enclose the trifoliate foliage and the penjolls, etc.) show the profound and intense Coptic influence of the work.
