An elongated object with a pointed end. It has a surface with facets made with abrasion and polishing techniques. The shaft has convergent veins towards the distal end, a very flat lenticular section and a constant spessor along its entire length. Made on the diaphysis or flank of a medium to large mammal.
Interpreted as an ornamental element that was probably used to hold the head. They are often found in association with burials, which together with other decorative and useful objects, formed part of the funerary furnishings. Similar samples have been published from this site and others such as the Cova de la Barcella, in Torre de les Maçanes, and the Cova de la Pastora, in Alcoi.
