EASTER

Easter week 2006 saw the inauguration of the "Tales of the Marq" project. It consisted of a "journey" through the history and archaeology of the province of Alicante, with the theme of the permanent rooms of the museum as a backdrop. The stories began with Prehistory "the Ciervatán Clan", and continued with the world of the Iberians "the old woman Mara" (Christmas 2006), Rome "Lucentum, the land of treasures" (Easter 2007) and Medieval Tales "2008, Any de Jaume I" (Easter 2008).

In 2009 we celebrated the Year of Astronomy with the story "THE MESSENGER OF THE STARS", the story of a scientist whose dream is to look beyond the reach of sight, feeling the movement of the universe through the dances of the world. We continued to enjoy this exciting subject with the didactic workshop "TRAVEL WITH MARQ TO THE SOLAR SYSTEM" where the participants got to know, located and made their own Solar System.
