Would you be able to identify an inhabitant of a Roman city by his or her clothing alone; would you be able to recognise a toga, a paludamentum, a palla?
How did they dress for the gladiatorial games? In ancient times, clothing marked the social classes more than it does today. Come, we are waiting for you.

Gladiator Fight
The historical recreation association "Hispania Romana" will explain how the spectacle of the munera gladiatoria or gladiatorial combats worked, the different types and we will banish some Hollywood myths. Likewise, the editor of the games will offer us a gladiatorial session in which pairs of gladiators will take part.
Ticket purchase: MARQ ticket offices, at the Lucentum site itself and through instanticket.

Manumisio
The final destiny of a gladiator was not necessarily to die a slave; many gladiators were manumitted and became freedmen. This act of manumission meant that a slave became a free person. The "Hispania Romana" Association will show the public one of the types of manumission, the manumisio vindicta, which involves the dominus, the slave and the necessary presence of a magistrate.

Gladiator fight.
The historical re-enactment association "Hispania Romana" will hold a gladiatorial presentation show before the editor who hires them. A small evening celebration in the magistrate's domus, where the lanista shows the guests some of the gladiators who will fight in the upcoming munera or gladiatorial combats.
