"Itinerario Formativo del Paisaje Cultural del Campo de Alicante. La Huerta de Alicante. Parte II”

INTRODUCTION

The Camp d'Alacant and, therefore, the Huerta of Alicante, treasure a cultural and historical heritage of incalculable value that is currently in the process of disappearing due to the intense anthropic and urbanising action that exists in the surroundings of the city of Alicante. Huerta towers, dams, irrigation channels, mills, crops, irrigation traditions, music, customs, make up an enormous heritage that needs to be recovered, preserved and enhanced.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

Ubicar y conocer la riqueza cultural e histórica del Camp d’Alacant en el tiempo y en el espacio. Eliminar los estereotipos relacionados creando una imagen más fiel a la realidad histórica y cultural que conocemos. Conocer la estructura de los diferentes elementos patrimoniales arqueológicos, históricos, etnográficos, culturales y tradicionales del Camp d’Alacant que conservan un patrimonio único en su género con más de 500 años de historia. Apreciar y destacar la importancia de este patrimonio cultural único en nuestra provincia y su capacidad para convertirse por sí mismo en un valor turístico, cultural y social.
